about me.
I am an independent filmmaker, originally from the town of Nyack, New York. As a child, my first love was photography. I understood at an early age that my goal in life would be to show others the world the way I see it.
Initially I had a great love for all things creative and began studies in fine art, creative writing, color theory, photography and alternate processes in photography. It was with each new endeavor that I was closer to my life goal. One day while studying photography, I was instructed to create a short film. During this process I realized video was the avenue I had to pursue.
Even though my first short film didn't warrant an Oscar, it was an amazing learning experience. My previous education in story, color, and photography gave me an advantage that has made my style unique.
I graduated from the School of Communication Arts in 2004 as the first woman to graduate from the Digital Filmmaking program. Since then, I have worked as a Production Assistant, Radio Editor, Motion Graphics designer, Director, Videographer, Writer.... you get the idea. Needles to say, I love all things creative and love working with others who find passion doing the same. I always have many projects brewing, and this website is the main hub for all that activity.
Currently, I live in Durham, NC with my musically inclined, sports-loving husband and our two cats.
